Joe Johnson recently retired from the US Army
after 21 years of service, proudly serving primarily with the 82nd & 101st Airborne Divisions. 

Enlisting in the Army immediately upon
graduating college, Joe served as a Rifle & Weapons Squad Leader, prior to
attending Officer Candidate School.  Once Commissioned, Joe served as an
Infantry Officer, deploying to Iraq as a Rifle Company Commander and
Afghanistan as a Reconnaissance Squadron
Operations Officer.  During his service to our nation, Joe deployed
multiple times, to include Egypt, Haiti, Kosovo and 4 combat deployments to
Iraq and Afghanistan – earning 3 Bronze Stars, 4 Meritorious Service Medals,
and numerous other awards and decorations.  Joe has a Master’s Degree in
Military History from Louisiana State University, is a certified NRA Pistol
Instructor and Range Safety Officer, as well as a certified Glock
Armorer. 

Joe and his wife Katie have been married for 19
years and have one daughter.
