Gunsmith Services

Meet Roy Jenkins, Gunsmith for the Matthews Location.

My name is Roy Jenkins and I am the new Gunsmith for PBR Matthews.  I just retired from the US Army after 20 years of service and have been to Iraq three times and Afghanistan once.  In the Army, I was a mechanic and a unit armorer.  As a unit armor I serviced, replaced parts, and maintained over 200 weapons.  I have been doing gunsmithing for 5 years now and have made walnut stocks, 1911 grips, and built several AR-15’s and 1911’s.  I also have cerakoted many weapons from Glocks to AR-15’s and have experience with many other different types of weapons. I attended Gunsmith school through Modern Gun Repair for a year and graduated top of my class.  My goal at Point Blank Range is to make it a one stop shop for any gun repair, cleaning and many other options.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Meet Mitch Bowers, Gunsmith for the Mooresville Location.

My name is Mitch Bowers, and I am the Gunsmith for PBR Mooresville.  I am a Marine Corps veteran with 2 combat deployments in 2004/2005.  I attended an NRA endorsed gunsmithing school earning my 2-year certification in 2015.  In addition to gunsmithing at Point Blank Range, I build high end 1911 pistols for Carolina Arms Group.  At the Mooresville location, I can provide general repair, drop-in parts swaps, detailed cleaning, troubleshooting, and more.  Since the AR-15 market is growing exponentially, we offer full-service work or builds for your personal rifle!  We also work closely with our Matthews location to provide additional services such as Cerakote for your pistol or rifle.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
