Using the Range
What are the range fees?
A daily rate of $20.00 allows you to stay and shoot as long as you want through the end of the business day, provided others are not waiting to shoot. If others are waiting to shoot, we ask that you limit your time in the range to 45 minutes. You can then put your name on the waiting list and go back for another 45 minutes when a lane is available. You can also leave and come back at a later time. Annual Range Members and Patriot Gun Club Members have unlimited use of the range with no range fees as part of their membership, subject to the same 45 minute limitation if others are waiting.
Can I pay per use of the range, or do I have to purchase a range membership?
The range is open to the public during normal business hours. You can come as often as you like and pay the daily fee. You don’t have to purchase a range membership, but that is the most cost effective way to use the range if you plan to come often.
How long is the wait for a lane?
It is difficult to predict what the wait might be at any given time. We have 15 lanes and the time limit is 60 minutes if others are waiting. Browse our retail pro shop, or watch the programming on our video monitors to entertain you while you wait. We plan to implement a reservation system for Members in the near future. Members will always have priority over daily rate shooters.
Can I make lane reservations and have a standing weekly time?
Not now, but we hope to have a reservations system for members soon after we open.
Can I bring friends with me?
We encourage you to bring your friends and provide Annual Members and Patriot Gun Club Members with guest passes to allow you to bring your friends at no charge. Additional shooters may accompany you in the range with payment of the $20.00 daily range fee. There is no charge to watch from our viewing area.
Can I share a shooting lane with someone else?
Yes, up to four persons may share a shooting booth/lane. Each person entering the range is required to go through the safety orientation and pay the daily range fee, regardless of whether they plan to shoot. Anyone that will not be shooting is welcome to watch from our viewing area.
What safety precautions are being taken?
Safety is our 1st priority. On their first visit, each shooter is required to view a safety video and complete a brief orientation with a Range Safety Officer. We have numerous reminders posted throughout the facility to remind visitors and shooters of our rules. Our Range Rules are designed to keep everyone safe. Please see a copy of our Range Rules here. A Range Safety Officer will be on duty at all times during normal business hours.
Is the range Family Friendly?
Point Blank Range has been designed from the ground up to be family friendly and we strongly encourage family memberships. In addition to catering to families, our training courses include female-only training, where preferred, and courses tailored to our female members in terms of personal safety.
Is there a minimum age to shoot?
Children under 8 years of age are not permitted in the range, but can watch from the viewing area. All persons between the ages of 8 and 18 must be accompanied in the range by an adult and a waiver of liability signed by the shooter’s parent or legal guardian. All children between the ages of 8 and 18 must be accompanied and directly supervised in the shooting booth by a parent or legal guardian.

Can I bring my own ammunition, or do I have to buy my ammunition at the range?
You can always bring your own ammunition, provided it is of a type not specifically disallowed. Members will receive special pricing on range ammo, and we encourage you to check out our prices. Only ammunition purchased from Point Blank Range can be used in any rental firearm, which is required under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Can I pick up my brass from the range?

This state-of-the-art target retrieval system allows the shooter to place the target at any distance in one foot increments from 3 to 75 feet. The 360° turning target carrier can turn front to back to on-edge and can be programmed to execute any course of fire that can be conceived.
