What are people saying about Defensive Pistol I?

“I wanted to send you my quick thoughts/review on the Defensive Pistol Class you facilitated on 1/12/2018. First, the logistics – the class was perfectly sized (I was one of 5) and felt that enabled not only solid class instruction, but also gave ample opportunity to provide 1:1 instruction when it was both needed and asked for. Second, the content – the class was informative as well as practical. The drills were helpful in grounding the students in the necessities of handling their respective firearms safely and, when needed, defensively. Last, the instructor – Melanie, thank you for patience, guidance and enthusiasm in seeing your students be well equipped. It is very evident how much you care. I honestly believe that I am far better equipped today than I was a week ago. Much work needs to be done, but am looking forward to further workshops and classes. Again, my heartfelt thank you! I hope this email finds you well.”

“I would like to express gratitude to the Mooresville branch of Point Blank Range.  On the evening of January 12, 2018, I attended the Defensive Pistol 1 training, taught by Melanie Allmond.  This was an amazing learning experience. I am a novice shooter, whose primary purpose of owning a handgun, is first- self defense, and then recreation.  Our class size was perfect for our instructor to teach (explain), demonstrate, and observe our class in practice, and correct individual students as needed. There was no sense of intimidation from the instructor; she made the learning relaxed and interesting. This class really helped to instill confidence in drawing from the holster and handling the firearm. I believe Melanie understood that as students learning new objectives, sometimes we just don’t know the questions to ask, yet. Our instructor was sensitive to this and offered suggestions to help us better understand, and produce more effective technique.  So, I wish to say thank you to Point Bland Range, Mooresville, for offering this class. I received a lot of excellent information, implemented new technique, and realized improvement in practice. I look forward to participating in the workshops to continue practice.  An excellent class.”

“I recently took a training course from Daniel on Sunday Dec 18th. This was an AMAZING course and worth every penny! He setup a great class and had even better instruction. Job well done! I’ll definitely be returning to the range and highly recommend to anyone who asks for a great place to shoot.”
