The building shell is up and trades are filling in the systems

Multiple trades are working side-by-side in an effort to achieve our opening day goal of the day after Thanksgiving. It will take nearly perfect progress and adherence to the construction schedule at this point to achieve that goal, but we are still aiming for it.

In the meantime we are lining up stock for delivery, considering initial class schedule, and interviewing potential employees. Our general manager has already been on board for a couple of months. She hit the ground running and is working hard with us to make opening day a huge success.

As I said, we are interviewing candidates for staff at the new PBR. Do you know any outstanding people with great personalities who are good with people and interested in the shooting sports? (They don’t have to be experts.) Have them go to http://www.pointblankrange.com/career-opportunities/ to print out an application. There is an email address on the web page to email the application back. Be sure they indicate they are applying to work at the Matthews location.

This is the view from the parking lot. The main entrance is roughed in. The windows have not been cut out of the gypsum board.

The brick veneer is already going up on the Monroe Road side.

Inspecting range bay #2. It’s still just a concrete box at this point.

PBR Matthews will have two dedicated classrooms. This area will house the larger one with seating for around 30.
