Wednesday night the Motorsports Team Challenge guys got a real challenge thrown at them by our Competition Director Mike Denney. Check out this short video of the extra course of fire Mike designed to incorporate team work into the match. The teams had a blast and can’t wait to see what Mike has in store for them next week as they wrap up the Summer Shootout Series. If you want to see how much fun a shooting competition can be, come by Wednesday night, August 29th for the Series Finale and see who wins the S&W M&P pistols!
We only have a few open seats remaining in the afternoon session of our NSSF First Shots seminar October 6th. The morning session is full with 32 students and we’ll have at least that in the afternoon. First Shots is a FREE seminar for new and beginning shooters encompassing firearm safety and terminology along with some practical application of those learning’s on the range. We’ve added seminars in November and December and they will be on our registration page soon. Even though the seminar is free you must register here to participate.
For you 1911 folks out there we have a new Nighthawk Custom and three new Les Baer pistols to tempt you with. All these guns were ordered in January to give you an idea of how long it takes to acquire such fine firearms these days. They won’t sit in the case very long so if you’re in the market for an upgrade to any collection don’t wait too long to check them out.
Hunting season is right around the corner and to prepare we have three of our instructors attending certification to teach hunters safety courses here in the Training Academy. Stay tuned for updates and a schedule for the course beginning in September.
